Danny Columbe

Danny ColumbeDanny attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Danny was one of the best, if the not the best, pitcher in Arizona High School Baseball history.

His senior year he was the Arizona Player Of The Year, as well as an All-American, and had a 10-0 record, 0.75 ERA, and 138 strikeouts. Danny had 288 strikeouts in his high school career and 20 strikeouts in one game. During his senior year he led Chaparral to a state championship win.

He was drafted out of HS by the Dodgers but went on to play at USC and as a freshman he had 13 strikeouts in his first start. Danny currently plays at Texas Tech and if he keeps working as hard as he did when he was an AzWob member he will be in the Big Leagues soon!
