Taiwanese Prospects At AZWOB

Posted on: July 15, 2014

Last week we were fortunate enough to play host for a Taiwanese Baseball prospect team. While they had many choices in front of them to accommodate their needs, they said the choice was clear and made the long 7000 plus miles across the Pacific to the strong baseball state of Arizona.

While here in the great state of Arizona they sought out Arizona World of Baseball for their baseball training needs. The Taiwanese team used our state-of-the-art batting cages, featuring Iron Mike machines which are easily operational by one person, with no need to load or pick up any balls saving you time. They also used our live Batting practice tunnel, allowing coaches to throw to them, as well as hitting stations to get their technical swings off the tee.

After they completed their practice, we partnered with Chip Gosewisch from Fischer Sports to transport them and set up an exhibition game at Corona Del Sol High school where they concluded their baseball journey.

AZWOB would like to say thank you to everyone on the Taiwanese Prospect Team and those involved that made everything work. We have been blessed to have the chance at making an international impression in the game of baseball.
