Bellinger Breaks Dodgers’ Rookie HR Record

Cody Bellinger has taken the Big Leagues by storm.
Bellinger has set the Dodgers’ all-time home run record for a rookie, passing Mike Piazza, who hit 35 in 1993, has a long history of success on the diamond.

Coached by his father and former big leaguerClay Bellinger, Cody played in the Little League World Series, helping guide Chandler National Little League to the U.S. semifinals in 2007.

His senior season of high school at Hamilton, Bellinger hit .429 with a .515 on-base percentage and signed with the Dodgers after being taken with the No. 124 overall pick in the 2013 MLB draft.
