On winter break and no coach to hit you balls? Getting somebody to hit you ground balls isn’t always easy. Don’t let that stop you from getting some work in. All you need for this drill is about 5 or more baseballs and some open space(backyard). So start by spreading out the baseballs then one-by-one approach each baseball as if it were a ground ball. Remember, butt down don’t just bend over at the waist, glove down and simulate coming through the baseball and making a throw to first. Continue to the next ball and repeat till you have gone threw all the balls. Do this 2-3 times a couple days a week and before you know it you will have smoother hands/feet with more confidence when it comes to game day.
